Linda Niebauer is the communications director for Advancing Care Together. She wears several hats in the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine, which include that of project coordinator for the Office of Strategic Communications; project manager for an AHRQ-funded medication management/patient safety project in the University Hospital clinics; and evaluator for the University Hospital Residency Preparing the Personal Physician for Practice project, a national comparative case study of family medicine education innovations.

Linda began her primary care work as coordinator for the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency program in 1974. She was among the earliest leaders in the development of practice-based research networks having laid the groundwork for the Ambulatory Sentinel Practice Network with Dr. Larry Green.

She has 30 years of experience with the opportunities and challenges associated with these networks having served as Communications Coordinator for ASPN for 15 years and then having played a similar role with the State Networks of Colorado Ambulatory Practices and Partners (SNOCAP), which is made up of five different Colorado networks. She has provided consultation for multiple networks, and continued to participate in practice-based research projects in her role as network associate for the six-year RWJF-funded Prescription for Health program.

Linda has two children and is the doting grandma of Abby, Rayen and Liam. She loves living in Colorado and especially enjoys white water rafting.
